Welcome to West Shore Toastmasters, one of the longest-running and brightest-burning clubs in Toastmasters International's constellation of 12,500 clubs worldwide. Now in its 52nd year, West Shore Toastmasters has earned a solid reputation for developing strong speaking skills and helping adults realize their full leadership potential. Right here on the west shore of the Harrisburg area!

West Shore Toastmasters meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Our meeting site is the Fox-Eichelberger VFW in New Cumberland. Our meeting agenda includes prepared speeches, evaluations, impromptu talks, and various meeting roles that help members and guests develop leadership capabilities. Attendees learn organizational and interpersonal skills that benefit them in their job and careers, family lives, and friendships. Meetings are $12 and include a full dinner. First issue of the Area 12 newletter, Boastmaster, is released!
Area 12 Governor, Ellen Demaree, ASC, has announced the launch of a monthly newsletter for the district's members. It is titled, Area 12 Boastmaster, and comes packaged in an impressive, well-designed two-page format. Demaree, who is a former president of the West Shore Toastmasters Club, says the newsletter represents not only WSTM, but also the Giant Talkers, Going Deep, and Now Hear This clubs. Issue 1, the August 2010 edition, is available for review on this website and can be accessed by either clicking here or clicking the "Available Downloads" link at left. Happy Reading!
West Shore Toastmasters Inducts 2010-11 Officers
At its July 7th meeting, the West Shore Toastmasters Club inducted its new officers for 2010-11.
